Jane Blundell is an award-winning artist, an Urban Sketcher and art teacher. She has a passion for colour, especially watercolour, and is a member of the prestigious Australian Watercolour Institute. She will be demonstrating the Daniel Smith watercolour range, which she has been using for over 20 years. She will unlock the mysteries of watercolour characteristics - granulation, staining, opacity, transparency, lightfastness etc - and help you to work out which colours will be most suitable for your purposes, whether choosing a palette of 3 or 30 colours, painting en plein air or in a studio, urban sketching or painting botanicals. During the demonstration she will paint out dozens of the 248 Daniel Smith watercolours and there will be plenty of time to ask questions.
